The Banana Was Non-Negotiable Card

Deep in a sunny meadow, a tiny young monkey discovered something far more valuable than all the flowers, butterflies, and shiny things in the forest combined: a perfectly good banana. He sat comfortably in the grass, wrapped his fluffy tail around himself, and held his treasure firmly in both hands. His enormous innocent eyes suggested that he was the sweetest little creature in the entire woodland.Do not be fooled.A butterfly landed nearby. The monkey stared at it.A bird chirped from a tree. The monkey stared at that too. Then another monkey wandered past and glanced at the banana.Suddenly, the sweet little face became extremely serious. This was his banana. He had found it. He had peeled it. He had emotionally bonded with it
